Our servers only accept secure (encrypted FTP) connections and will refuse any attempts to connect with plain FTP.
Note: If you are using CloudFlare and have it active you should use the servers hostname. If you are not sure what is the servers hostname you can ask us or if you use the auto cPanel login available in you client area. Once logged into cPanel check the URL in your browser. The format will be xx.kickassd.com. Eg. s1.kickassd.com.

Common FTP Errors And Fixes
- 421 too many connections
Your simultaneous connections number is too high. Fix this by opening your site manager and opening the "Transfer Settings" tab. Mark the Simultaneous connections tab if it is not already and set the number to 6.
- Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Increase timeout setting to 60 seconds. To do this go to Edit > Settings and set the number to 60. If you continue to have problems with it increase it or disable it by setting it to 0.
